"Silence! The Court is in Session" is back with more shows

After a hugely successful debut of its latest play, Version One dot Oh! is back with the next set of shows of "Silence! The Court is in Session" on the 25th and 26th of July at the Alliance Francaise.

One of Vijay Tendulkar's literary masterpieces, Silence! takes the covers off a conformist society, to show us what it is capable of when given the powers to lord over those who live by their own rules.
With a drama woven into a drama, the play revolves around a group of actors about to perform a play in a village. As the plot thickens, the comforting mist of 'pretend' starts to dissolve, revealing the frustrated, bitter and jaded lives of the performers.

Light years ahead of its times, Silence!... exposes the dark side of middle class morality, where judgements are passed by the minute and silence is often the only recourse left to the defendant. This performance is a tribute dedicated to Vijay Tendulkar who passed away recently (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vijay_Tendulkar).
